Summary
At the outskirts of the Eldan Sanctum, a young boy sets off on a journey in hopes of dispelling the curse that plagues his childhood friend, the prince. Unfortunately for him, with no guidance and few skills to his name, he ends up captured by a band of slavers. Upon being brought to Grand Trad, he is sold off to the kingdom's state army general, Louis Guiabern.
As time goes on Will grows more and more despondent with his situation, starting to lose hope that he will ever be able to save his friend.
But fate is a fickle mistress.
Even as he feels the fantasy in his heart dying out, somehow, it endures.
