Summary
I have sixteen biobeds and nineteen miserable Vulcans. That baloney about Vulcans being unflappable? Baloney. Humans have allergic rhinitis. Vulcans apparently have allergic otitis.
Allergens invade the Enterprise and leave the Vulcan crew members suffering.
Slightly AU, or maybe just 'artistic license' to comply with a challenge as I have a hard time believing that of 'fewer than 10,000 Vulcans', this many would be on the Enterprise.
Written in response to Arcadii's Achoo! challenge.
Because I am suffering the season of allergies and went trolling the challenges looking for a one-shot idea that wasn't going to be a total self-pity party and found instead an excuse to make Spock as miserable as I am. Why else would I write a fic?

Spock and Uhura have broken up, but Spock wants her back. Both Jim and Spock are dismayed when Bones and Uhura start dating each other. To make matters worse, Sarek is disappointed in Spock, because he approved of Uhura. Both Jim and Spock feel inadequate and unlovable. Then they have a one-night stand, which just complicates matters more. So, who gets who, and is everyone happy at the end of the tale?

Pets aren't exactly regulation on a Starship, and there's a reason for that. But this little stowaway took up residence in Spock's heart. Mostly a story about Spock and an unexpected friend, with liberal doses of Kirk/Spock in a relationship that you can make anything you want out of.
