Volo is pleasant, nice and cheerful. Volo is lying. Volo does not fear pokemon, he seems to adore and Revere them and that is the only thing he hasn't lied about. Volo is covered in half truths, lies of omission and he is wearing a perfect mask, he is the perfect merchant, he is friendly and easy to approach and easy to talk to. It is undoubtedly a facade.
Kouji wants to break it. He wants to shatter that perfect, unscathed mask and bite it off his face. And Volo would bleed because his mask was glued to his face and it would definitely hurt when Kouji inevitably tears it off.
Instead, he smiles pleasantly at Volo. He is playing a lying game, so Kouji will play with him. Playing alone is lonely, after all.

Summary
After a few weeks of being the heir, he is given another butler. Which was unnecessary in Byakuya’s eyes, he already had Aloysius to take care of most matters. A butler that couldn't be trusted was useless, and he doesn't think that this one would show as much loyalty as Aloysius does.
Byakuya meets a seemingly young man, his hair tied in a long ponytail, their hair color is similar to each other, but the roots of his hair contain strands of gray. In fact, it almost seems like his entire body was tinted with a gray screen, his skin was unnaturally pale, even by Byakuya's standards, his eyes are completely lifeless, and his pupils permanently dilated as if high on something. His left eye is covered by a medical eye patch, he wears his weakness as if it won't hinder him. Byakuya does not know how to feel about him.
The room is silent, the man does not say anything unless spoken to. He reminds Byakuya of a doll.

Crepus didn’t know how long he had been there, floating aimlessly in the inky black abyss. The only thing he could see was his own limbs. He didn’t need to breathe here, didn’t need to hear, didn’t need to smell. All he had known for so long was this strange place that seemed to defy all laws that Teyvat had.
The last thing he remembered was using his Delusion against Ursa to protect his son. He felt the Delusion’s power course through his body, driving Ursa away. Then…. Nothing, like he had passed out or worse from using it.

Noelle finds herself rather dejected after once again failing the Knights of Favonius exam. She could’ve sworn that she had studied as hard as she could! …Yet somehow it always ended up the same. Another list of new recruits posted at the Knights of Favonius headquarters without her name on it. Noelle cheers for everyone who made it, and everyone gives her those same pitied apologies.
Not to mention that after her failure, it seems that some other people have taken a strange interest in her. Why her of all people, anyway? She was a simple maid who couldn’t even become a knight. There is nothing special about a failure.
Not that it matters! Noelle is focused solely on her goal of becoming a knight. Nobody will distract her, and no different offers will tempt her. She wouldn’t ever dream of joining an organization like the Fatui. Never.
…But what does she do when she no longer has a choice?
