It was disturbing how peaceful he looked. For once, his features weren't pinched and drained. There was a strange glow to him, an unmistakable pinkness to his cheeks. He looked like someone in love. Or coming down with a bad fever.Krauser couldn't decide which.

Chris looked like a beast, cheeks bristling with stubble, uniform stained and torn. He smelled of other men's sweat as he stumbled into Leon's apartment.
"I've just been held hostage by Wesker," the BSAA Captain groaned, holding out his wrists for inspection. "See?"
Chris keeps going back to Wesker so Wesker can break him. And Leon is the one who has to pick up the pieces.

Falling pregnant seemed to have drained all the defiance out of Leon. At first, he was quiet, timid almost. Completely stunned by his new life. Or so it had seemed.
"But then he got used to it!" complained Krauser.
Krauser, with Wesker's help, finally puts Leon in his place. At first. Now it's seems like Leon enjoys being Krauser's "wife" a little too much.

Summary
Despite the fact that Leon has never flaunted his flat chest, or his changed voice, or the bulge in his throat or the one in his underwear, sometimes Chris still feels like shark bait to him. Like he’s a body floating in a pool of estrogen that’s just bleeding, bleeding out, the sweet rotten smell leaking from every pore to alert any predators in the water.
Young, untransitioned, and painfully dissatisfied with his life, Chris escapes to thoughts of the unnatural to cope with his discontent. Incapable of seizing agency for himself, he waits for something to happen to him instead.
And it does. Weak, weird, and inhuman, he finds it dying in his garage. 🌿
