Summary
Underneath the glowing eyes, a great maw opened to hiss at you, baring several rows of needle-like fangs, wicked looking and sharp and also glowing in the blacklight. As the thing hissed, the cries started up again, more frantic this time, and accompanied by- it almost sounded like scratching?
And it was coming from behind you.
The bleeding creature had never been the one wailing.

Summary
There was a knock on Locus’ door, and for a few highly embarrassing moments, he had absolutely no clue what to do. He simply froze, staring at the door with wide eyes before wondering if he could maybe pretend to not be in.
-
Or, how Locus tries and fails to make sense of what his life has become, and also what exactly Donut is actually saying. And just Donut in general.

Summary
The thing was, the big guy was incredibly shy - so Donut had deduced, using his amazing Double-O Donut detecting skills. He never even joined them for meals! At best, he would enter the kitchen, take a plate of whatever had been cooked, and then leave again; at worst, he simply didn’t show up.
-
Or, how Donut manages to be completely unaggressive about aggressively caring, and how Locus is Confused by that.

Summary
In his first life, Soundwave failed. His second life, Soundwave emerged from the Well with the faint sense of having done so before, a tickling feeling of recollection in the back of his mind that he learned to live with. In his fifth life, he was sure something was wrong. By his tenth life, he could guess what was happening to him, even though he didn’t understand why.
Soundwave keeps being reincarnated, doomed to live his life over and over, forever fighting and forever failing. Until one day, he's no longer alone in the endless cycles.

Summary
“Jay, I hate you. I’m so serious, I despise you–”
“Uh-huh,” is all Jay says because it’s kind of hard to take Tim seriously when he says this at least once a day. It’s practically routine at this point. Tim goes to the store, or out to smoke, or something and he comes back mad at Jay about something or other. Sometimes it’s a new thing, but usually it’s the same recycled bullshit. Jay wonders sometimes if Tim does it just to have something to do.
(Or: Jay Merrick may not understand the inner workings of Tim Wright’s mind, but he at the very least understands their routine, and how Tim feels about him. At least, he thinks he does.)

Summary
You weren't a technician, you weren't a security guard, you weren't a daycare assistant. You're just an employee. Staff. The ‘jack-of-all-trades’ employee with mediocre at best skills and specialty in none, tasked with doing miscellaneous jobs that robots couldn't do and human staff couldn't care to. The job is unpredictable, but it pays good and it's relatively easy.
Except for the part where all the animatronics are more sentient than you thought, and you're roped into a mystery surrounding the Daycare Attendants, who are bit too curious about you for your liking.
You don't think this was in your employee contact.

Summary
"You can't be serious." Jonathan Sims raises his eyes at last to properly look at Georgie, expecting her to laugh and make some quip about finally getting him to put the damn book down, at least.
"Well, I am," she shoots back.
He sets his book aside and turns fully towards her, betrayal clear on his face. "A blind date, really?"
Jon makes the frankly terrible decision to go on a blind date with one Martin Blackwood. Fate ensues. AU where Jon and Georgie are still friends, Georgie likes finding dates for her friends, Martin doesn't work at the institute, and everyone is just a bit happier while canon spooky stuff goes on in the background. Takes place juuust barely pre-canon in the beginning but catches up quickly. Inspired as usual by the wonderful conversations with my friend RavenXavier/somuchbetterthanthat.
