Alexander "Bishop" de Riva has lived a life of constant battles: losses and victories. From the Antaam to the Evanuris, he can count the many times his life was almost forfeit. And yet, he's still alive. These are small sections prior to Veilguard and during the game--with some canon divergence.

“You know, it’s rather impressive, actually,” said a smooth voice as Dorian Pavus sauntered into his line of sight. Lucanis relaxed slightly. He didn’t know Dorian very well, but at least the Archon of Tevinter was unlikely to try and kiss up to him like some of the other nobles hovering about like vultures.
“What is?” Lucanis asked, mildly afraid of the answer.
“How you manage to brood in a corner even more dramatically than Solas ever did.”Lucanis Dellamorte has always hated parties, but saving the world and falling in love with Rook has resulted in far, far too many social obligations by far. Luckily for him, while Lucanis is attending yet another tedious gathering in Minrathous with Rook, newly minted Archon Dorian Pavus rescues him from miserable small talk with entertaining conversation and an opportunity to sneak off and kill some Venatori while their respective partners handle the politics. It's guys' night!

Twelve years ago, Garrus Vakarian told her to come back alive. Now, after retiring early back on Palaven, the galaxy continues to feel emptier and emptier without her. With a glass of turian Horosk in one hand and Black Widow in the other, he's blurring the lines between reality and wishful thinking. That is, until Liara, Kaidan, and Tali show up at his front door with a lead on Shepard.
Wishful thinking or not, he'll fight through hell to save her, or he'll meet her at the bar in heaven trying.

Lucanis nearly laughed. Alright? Nothing had been alright since he was seven. Since he regained consciousness to silence, surrounded by the lifeless bodies of everyone he loved. Since he stumbled through the wreckage to find his family cold, their faces unrecognizable, and realized he was the only one left.
But at least before Spite, he’d had a purpose. He’d had the Crows, he’d had Illario and Caterina, cruel and stern though she was. He’d had the grand purpose she had shaped him for, been preparing for a life leading the Crows as First Talon.
But now?
Now, he was a monster, not fit to lead and barely fit to follow, a liability to their party every time he closed his eyes. But Rook was waiting for an answer.

Lucanis is barely holding it together — exhaustion and his inner demon(s) (literal and otherwise) are dragging him down. Rook becomes an unexpected anchor, lending him support as he learns to live with Spite. What starts as survival turns into something deeper, as Rook helps him slowly piece himself back together while Lucanis chases the redemption he thinks he needs.Come for the bondage, stay for the whump, angst, fluff and healing.
