The woman with the sharp nose laughs, the sound grating in the air between them. She moves her lips closer to Mar's ear, whispering, “People get ‘only alive’ bounties for one of two reasons.” The hand holding Mar's chin loosens and one of the fingers gently follows the curve of her jawline.
“They either have connections to people in higher positions in the world that allow for leniency in their bounty or…” the woman narrows her eyes even further, turning her gaze as serrated as a knife. “The person happens to know or have something that the world government desperately wants that cannot be obtained with their death." Letting her smile grow a bit more sharp, Nico Robin moves her thumb and places the pad of it gently in the middle of Mar's lips. “I wonder which reason you have."

Summary
Althea doesn’t care if she is seen as weak or pathetic. Let them think what they want. In fact, she welcomes the pity in their eyes as long as it gets her what she wants. She knows her worth, what she is capable of. In the end, Althea will be the one in control.
Yet, Mikan’s outstretched hand keeps her paralyzed. The wind whispers in her ears and laughs as she continues staring at the tremor going through that hand, trying to remind her of a different world. Althea can only wonder why she is affected by someone as vulnerable and starved for love as Mikan.

Marcelline means "warlike" and "strong," which are traits she strives to have. Her nickname Mar means the ocean, which she views as her mother. The L. part of her name means ---------. As for her last name, it is a given last name that means the point of a planet's orbit that is furthest from the sun. Marcelline's last name is one gifted to her from Alim, the leader of her home, to Marcelline, her father, and brother...
If only life could be as simple as embodying one's name. Instead, Marcelline is on the run and has to complete what she has set out to do: find --------.

ABANDONED
All of the blackened are put into a killing game of their own. It is difficult to trust when you know that every single person you interact with has killed someone, just like you. Kaede does her best but hypocrisy can only take her so far.
Abandoned at the killing life part of the second chapter. Still a gem though.

Rat is considered a henchman now. She heals ridiculously fast. Currently depressed because of the death of a friend. -
