Hi! This is my first fanfic that I have posted to AO3.
I have a bit of a fascination with songfics' because music is such a big part of my life and can help me think through things sometimes.I was driving with my boyfriend today and this song played (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ClCpfeIELw) and I was kind of reflecting on my own relationship, and the conversations/arguments we have had about the idea of is it important to have things in common for a relationship.
Then I remembered how it felt to be blindsided by that conversation, to just be trucking along thinking everything's fine, then all of a sudden something happens and now we have this big emotional chat that for one party has come out of nowhere, but for the other it's been building for a while.
Then this just kind of happened?
I am also definitely procrastinating a major university assignment, which might be why this got written in like 45 mins at 2am.So uh, here you go, I hope you enjoy. This work is not beta'd all mistakes are my own.

Jared is everything Jensen isn't: outgoing, noisy, and cheerful. It's annoying. Especially since Jared has apparently decided that he likes Jensen and will stop at nothing to get a date with him. Jensen can't send him away as long as he's paying for coffee, and Jared won't take no for an answer, so Jensen agrees to a single date. With a little luck, and the magic of the Northern Lights, maybe they can have a chance after all.
