She hesitated only a moment before laying the bundle on his desk. Gingerly, she unwrapped the fabric, revealing the sea-stained bones within. The smell of harbor and sea water became stronger as the layers were peeled back.
Someone had made an attempt to clean the bones, though their work was sloppy and bits of dried seaweed still clung to the weathered remains. He'd seen their like before displayed on tables near churches dedicated to the Ravkan Saints.
"Did you buy a whole Saint on your walk through Little Ravka?"

Summary
Roman Roy's life had gone to shit all but a month ago. Now some know it all doctors think he's gone crazy, and all he has to do is follow some carefully outlined steps before being able to go back to "normal".
Nothing about this is supposed to romanticize or make light of the serious elements implied with Roman's character. It's not supposed to defend him either.

“How long have you been here?” She asks eventually.
“I don’t think he knew, right?” Roman ignores the question and it makes her feel as if she is intruding on a missed conversation coming to its natural conclusion. “Like—he didn’t fucking know. No.”
“Uhm—Rome?” She reaches for him; it’s all she can ever do. “What do you mean?”
“He didn’t,” he says as if it were decided.
“Roman,” Shiv whispers, downright scared.
But her brother just lightly shakes his head, his breath sounding off. Shaky. Broken. Something broke a long time ago and nobody remembers who tipped the glass. Shiv can’t remember.
Over the span of several years after the Waystar sale, the Roy siblings keep crossing paths. May it be birthdays, a memorial or other events, life finds a way to force them into each other's orbit. All of them try to live with the decisions they've made and have to face the final, hauntig question of whether their father can ever truly leave.

Summary
An AU series branching off an alternate "Through Imperial Eyes", wherein Thrawn got to Ezra's cell first, identified him, and had him tortured before Kallus and the Rebels managed to rescue him, which starts a chain reaction of modified canon events. Mostly focuses on Ezra's recovery from, and getting closure over, his trauma.
