When Cillian had asked her the question a month ago, she’d oddly thought of this weekend. Of coming to campus with him, sleeping in a twin bed with his ring on her finger. And she’d said No, thank you.
He’d been nice, and he loved her. It hadn’t felt like a good enough reason.
Clarke’s hands itched to pick up her phone, to text Murphy, but she didn’t. She typed out the words in her head—Is he coming—and deleted them.
He would, or he wouldn’t. And that was okay.

"Get off your ass, Blake. We have lives to save.” She chanced a glance at him over her shoulder as she left the room, knowing she couldn’t linger for long.
"Shut the hell up and move faster then, Griffin," he quipped playfully, heading in the opposite direction down the hall. Then, before he could get too far, "And Clarke? Be careful."
"You too, Bellamy."
Or, Clarke's a paramedic. Bellamy's a firefighter for the same station. Things between them are a little... complicated.
