Aziraphale's face went blank. He knew Crowley had a deep connection to the car and that there was some kind of link, but it couldn’t possibly go both ways. The car has a sense of sorts—mostly a sense of humour—but surely Crowley couldn’t possibly feel it, and the angel said as such without even thinking much about it.
He was vaguely aware that Crowley was responding, and he knew he should be listening, but instead found himself moving his thumb gently back and forth on the steering wheel as he struggled to keep his mind from wandering to some rather sinful curiosities.

“Don’t worry, pet” Vernon said, his nasty grin triumphant, “I’ll leave him someplace so far away that those freaks will never trace him back to us. There’s an institute up north, for these- these hopeless cases and whatnot - St Brutus's Secure Centre for Boys. I’ll leave him there, and then we can get back to our nice, normal life”.Or, the one where Harry doesn't attend Hogwarts in first year but finds his way to the wizarding world anyway, and this changes everything.

Peter had had some really bad days, but this one was up there with the worst of them. It had taken everything he had in him not to cry in the locker room as he sat on the dirty floor, soaking wet and shaking as Flash and his friends laughed at him. It had taken everything not to cry as he left the locker room and saw the looks on the faces of the other kids, because Flash had sent out pictures of his mangled hair and they knew. He could make it through the rest of the day if he held his breath, but then Tony wants to know what happened, and Peter can’t keep it together anymore in the safety of the lab. Hurt up front followed by a lot of comfort and Tony being the best.
