The tales we speak to our children through the hauntings of the night are a comforting lullaby of good against evil. Between the cooing to settle any fretful tears and the taut bedsheets that stave away the cold, the delicate children of the world hear the same tales --- a prince being rescued, a dragon slain, a kiss between soulmates. It's a journey of reassurance that, no matter what happens in the night, the sun will bloom in the end. The prince will always find a way to be saved. The villain will always die.
All stories are based on some form of history, but alas, it is the role of the victor to tell it. The betrayal that leads to a prince's capture is never told. The blood that falls comes from the claws of a dragon instead of the hero's sword. The lover's kiss is a blissful hello and not a bittersweet farewell. It is this that makes them fairytales, but it is history that makes them real.
Unfortunately, you have been ushered into the role of the villain, and perhaps, it has always been yours to fulfil.

Summary
The gods have kids. A lot of kids. But there is a world where they don’t. And in that world, Fate grows tired of seeing its gods mourn because of a curse placed on them by Kronos. So it explores, and finds a world where the gods do have kids. And those kids are gifts. Gifts that these gods have taken for granted. So Fate decides to take them to where they would be treated like the gifts they are.
When nine demigods wake up in a land they don’t recognize, a land that feels wrong, they do what any normal person would do. Panic. Then they get their shit together and try to figure out how to get home.
The Olympians have mourned enough. Now they have nine new reasons to celebrate instead. And they will not let these gifts go so easily.
