Tutto comincia durante gli allenamenti del 1° anno tra la 1A e la 1B. Kirishima si sente un perdente perché nonostante il suo team abbia battuto l'altra squadra lui non è riuscito a fare nulla. Osserva Bakugou brillare sul grande schermo, mentre aiuta i suoi compagni di squadra, portandoli alla vittoria e mentre è lontano da tutti sfoga se stesso.
Pensa al suo futuro da eroe, alla sue crush impossibile verso il biondo e a quanto sia irraggiungibile.Proprio là, in quel momento, arriva Lui.

Lucifer hated Alastor for so long he had already forgotten his reason why. What he didn't forget, however, is the fact that he had to attend a family event over the weekend. He also didn't forget how badly he had been treated by his family, and how Alastor is pretty much EXACTLY the kind of person his family despises.

Okay, so that part is entirely a lie because Lucifer hates the guy. Anyway, he made a deal with Alastor. A quid pro quo situation. Alastor pretends to be his boyfriend over the weekend to piss Lucifer's family, and in return, Lucifer will owe him a favor.
Simple, right?
Except that he underestimated Alastor’s hatred for his family and Alastor's uncanny ability to uncover deep, buried secrets. Now, they're both stuck in Lucifer's family drama and of course, the realization that perhaps ‘hate’ isn't the right term for the feeling they have for each other.
