Rooster finally gets back to LA to support his fiancee in her quest to get her job back and make some heads roll at the LAFD. Tommy floats and idea to boost her spirits to him when he picks him up at the airport, and Rooster can't help but like the sound of it - even though he knows it's mostly coming from their friends all being very annoyed their engagement is seemingly neverending. So sue them, weddings are stressful, and who has the time to plan one?!

Day 1 of prompts to myself
The morning of the tsunami, Eddie turfed Buck out of bed and ordered him out of the house, as he had been moping all week.
In this AU, Buck took off for the week and the 118 didn't realise, not having personally checked on her - taking Maddie's word for it after the embolism.
Buck needed support, not berating and criticism, so she went to her ohana for a while.
She is not impressed with Eddie or the 118's attitudes, and goes off on him, with a promise of more to come.

“It’s nothing. Sorry. It’s…” Buck looked again and the dull ache from before returned with a vengeance as he saw Tommy laugh at whatever someone said. Buck couldn’t possibly hear the sound over the noise swarming them at the bar, but he felt it wash over him all the same.
Buck forced himself to tear his gaze away from the way Tommy looked good in his cream colored henley and plaid button down. Tommy always looked amazing in neutral tones.
Olsen was his date. Olsen was his present in a pullover sweater, with biceps the size of Buck’s face and a smooth chin without a cleft.
Tommy wanted to move on. Buck was trying to do the same.
Buck shook off the cobwebs and smiled, holding it up that time. “I just saw someone I knew.”

Summary
After the "incident in the kitchen" at the end of season 8, Buck has to come to terms with Eddie's growing abusive tendencies over the years, the fact that they increase in the face of Eddie's grief over Bobby's death, and the fact that the 118 is no longer Buck's home. Along the way, he figures out what he wants home and family to truly mean, with some help from Tommy, Ravi, Athena, and the Deluca family.

Summary
Eddie falls into a coma, and Buck makes the decision to bring Christopher home, but it’s not just as easy as telling Helena and Ramon Diaz that their son is in a coma and that Christopher has to return home. Nothing could ever be that easy when it comes to Helena and Ramon Diaz. But Buck has a few people up his sleeve to help bring Christopher home, to where he belongs.
