If his face contorts multiple times to the point where it’s so unlike Reki to wear an expression like that on his face, his friend doesn’t notice it. Because it’s just so Reki to hide himself so well, build walls so carefully around himself that nobody stops and thinks that someone like him is just so miserable.
“Yeah I guess you’re right,” Reki laughs but it sounds like a dying animal, “I’m just too Reki.”

Summary
Langa would be a liar if he said he clearly remembered the rest of the conversation. One moment he was at the skatepark with his best friend and the next he was staring holes into his ceiling trying so hard to grasp the events of the night.
Obviously it was casual, I mean they always eat out together. Sometimes they even fight over who pays!
So why did this feel so different?
Maybe it was the fact that Reki offered to pick him up, and instead of it being spontaneous Reki asked for his availability and told him that he should dress nice and that he’d find a spot instead of just crashing at Joe’s restaurant or a random ramen spot like they usually do…

Kokichi shifted even closer to Shuichi, Shuichi felt himself unconsciously lean in a little."
Kokichi can’t deal with being so sickeningly in love with the detective and Shuichi can’t help but compare the liar to the clouds that paint the sky.

Summary
“Didn’t you say we can’t kiss before we get married?” Two hands make their way to Shuichi’s face, pulling him closer once again. “Nope! I suddenly have no memory of ever saying that.” Shuichi playfully rolls his eyes, hearing people shuffle around outside the room they’re cooped in. It’s almost time Shuichi thinks, he can feel butterflies float in his stomach and a bubbly feeling rushing through his veins.
“You may now kiss the groom Shu.” Kokichi playfully chimes, bringing Shuichi back to earth. He notices Kokichi drag his face closer toward him and Shuichi can’t help the smile that takes over his lips before he decides to make Kokichi’s life easier and meet him halfway into a loving and passionate kiss.
Tl;dr Shuichi and Kokichi get ready for their wedding day :)

Summary
The snow is beginning to fall again, in slow drifts, and the flurries melt when they kiss the glass, and it’s magical in a way Reki never imagined anything could be. He glances over at Langa, whose face is close enough that Reki can see the faded scarring on his cheeks, his pale lips with the cupid’s bow in the center that Reki has wanted, for so long, to kiss.
Langa has always been beautiful, but he looks the most beautiful to Reki when he has that wonder in his eyes, usually at S, and occasionally in the dusky sunset at DopeSketch or on the half-pipe at the skatepark. The way he looks up at the mountains makes Reki’s throat go dry.
He wants Langa to look at him that way.

Reki turns over. Finds that Langa is watching him very seriously, those lovely eyes blue, blue, blue. He looks so handsome like this: solemn and thoughtful. His features are as fine as jade. “Don’t you already like someone,” he tries, desperate.
Langa’s gaze remains resolute. “I do.”
“Then tell me,” Reki says. “Tell me about him.”

Reki's sick with a cold, and Langa shows up with an arsenal of. his favourite Canadian remedies. Between teaching Langa to say "hachimitsu-daikon," discovering that Western and Japanese remedies mix surprisingly well, and an extremely intimate VapoRub application, Reki realizes that having Langa in his bed — taking care of him, touching him, staying — feels like the future he's been dreaming about.
Featuring: adorable mispronunciations, Masae's knowing smile, and two boys learning that sometimes the best remedy is just being together.
