Summary
And then Fleamont smiles at him and opens his mouth and says, “Seventeen, huh? How does it feel to be an adult?”
And it feels like Sirius’ stomach dropping, like someone is reaching in and yanking it down painfully, their sharp nails piercing into his soft flesh and pulling further and further. It feels like his throat closing, like someone wrapping cruel hands around his neck and squeezing until he can’t breathe, until his eyes are bulging and his lungs are screaming and the black edges of the world are encroaching.
OR

Summary
“What about you, Sirius?” Peter asked, "who do you look like?"
Sirius’s breath stuttered to a halt, not at all prepared for this question to be directed at him. His leg stopped bouncing, his fingers stopped drumming, and even Remus’s calming circles on his arm stopped. Sirius felt utterly, completely frozen. James’s eyes widened slightly and Peter turned an alarming shade of scarlet; Sirius wasn’t sure whether he realized his mistake or if Remus had sent him a withering look.
“I think,” Remus spoke, breaking the silence, “that I look suspiciously like the mailman. Never confronted mum about it though.”

Sirius struggles with family resemblance.

Summary
At first, Sirius had simply perfected the art of silence under Veritaserum, and been content with that. Silence was safest in that house. But Walburga had not relented in the frequency of her dosages, and Sirius, who had always been a perfectionist, took it as a challenge. By fourteen he could tell a lie unflinching while it coursed through his veins. By fifteen he could do it with a smile on his face. By sixteen he could make it look effortless.
Tell us something.
Sirius grinned sharply, and with practiced ease, he lied: “I am the pride and joy of the Noble House of Black, and Walburga’s favorite son.”
OR
The Marauders take Veritaserum, and quickly realize it’s not Sirius’s first time.
