Not so much had changed since the last time he stepped foot into that room. They had tastelessly covered the damp walls with dull grey wallpapers. The half sipped cup of coffee still on the bedside table, a familiar shade of lipstick staining it on the rim.
You could almost see the faint silhouette of someone who had last sat on the soft bed. Probably read a book given how a dusty old book was left open on the bed, to a particular page. The room, now reflection of a neglected soul, with traces of a forgotten owner. Peter had always assumed that people like him, possessed hearts that painfully resembled this room... No freedom, the thing which Sirius craved more than anything.

Regulus had always known that his brother had never wanted to sit on the throne. It had never been a secret. Regulus had grown up watching his older brother go against everything that had ever been forced onto him. For some reason though, he never thought that his brother would manage to actually leave. When he does, Regulus is left with the expectations of his family weighing on his shoulders.

Sirius is trying his best to just get through life at the moment, hanging out with his mates and having the "normal" teenage experience. He's making the most out of being at Hogwarts, away from his depressing home life. But his home life can still make Hogwarts depressing at times.
Remus had started questioning certain things about himself, as if his lycanthropy didn't give him enough to think about. He was sure he figured it out, and then he developed a crush on his best friend. But hooking up with Sirius was easy, maybe a bit too easy.
Remus would happily be in a relationship with Sirius, but Sirius doesn't do relationships. At least that's what he's always told himself. When Remus gets a boyfriend, Sirius starts thinking otherwise
