Summary

From there, House Black has a choice: come together and overcome their differences or fade into obscurity.
This is a slow-burn fic with a lot of politics and POVs from all Blacks (including the usually forgotten ones). This is the perfect fit for those who love the Blacks, extensive world-building, and captivating mystery.

Summary
Harry Potter is the light side's spoiled, pampered prince, or at least that is what Alexandria has always believed. Despite using the Tournament as a cover for her mission to find her father, she sees how easily everyone turns on Harry and finds herself unable to watch him suffer. After all, family is everything to a Black, and Alexandria Black is not going to let some idiots get her little brother killed.
Or: A dark pureblood witch comes into Harry's life and opens his eyes to the culture and politics of the Wizarding world and his place in it. He ends up surrounded by Slytherins and dark magic and finds he does not mind either one. Perhaps he is not the light side's saviour after all?

*This is a terrible summary...I don't know how to describe this story. It's a mix of canon and AU. But if you like arranged marriage and enemies->friends->lovers and friendship and love and fluff and angst, then this is the fic for you.

After attacking her parents in the throes of a nightmare, Hermione decides to spend some time at the Burrow until she has herself under control again. All the Weasley's are amazing at helping her and each other deal with the aftermath, but one in particular is helping her come to grips with herself, and she helps him in return deal with his own struggles. Fred Weasley is struggling to balance his light-hearted personality with the horrors he has witnessed. Hermione Granger is just the person to help him. #Sucky summary, sorry guys.
This work is on hiatus while I edit it. I'm not happy with the pace of the story, so I'm going back and changing it. Hope you guys like the updated version/chapters to come!
