Kyouji picks up on the first ring. "Satomi?" he demands. His voice is a little hoarse, and if it's tightly reined in on the surface, Satomi can hear the deep tension beneath it. Satomi feels his shoulders sag a little in relief. He doesn't know why he'd feared Kyouji wouldn't pick up, because it's Kyouji, but—
"I… yeah," he says. His voice sounds small in his own ears, but he doesn't really know what to do about that.
A heavy gust of breath sounds over the line. "Fuck. Are you okay? Do you know where you are right now?"
Or, after being kidnapped by a rival gang, Satomi calls Kyouji for help.
