Summary
Eggchan wasn’t what you would classify as a straight-A student. He got A’s, yes, but his actions weren’t exactly that of an honor roll kid. He skated, partied, and snuck through girls’ windows… despite this, he maintained his high grades. Teachers didn’t particularly care for his after school activities, but that was beyond the districts that they could control.
Wemmbu, on the other hand, wasn’t nearly as smart academically as Eggchan. However, he was street smart in the way Eggchan wasn’t. He knew how to navigate streets, deal with people, read them, sometimes even manipulate in order to get what he needed. Implementing this into his academic life was necessary for his grades, so he sometimes lied to teachers about projects or assignments and they somehow believed him.
You can imagine their surprise when the two were paired on a project out of both of their intellect; friendship.

“Yeah?” Carlos asked, fiery. “Is that so?”
“Yeah,” Oscar said, all the confidence in the world behind his word.
“You really need to be taught when to keep your mouth shut, Piastri,” Carlos snarled. Oscar’s eyebrows raised.
“That’s cute,” Oscar was playing with fire. “Thanks for the offer, but I’ll pass.” Carlos let out a short, manic laugh.
“You know you’d beg for it,” he muttered. “You can’t get enough of me.” Maybe he couldn’t, but he certainly wouldn’t say that.
“I’ve always hated you, Sainz,” Oscar refuted. “Today was just the rude reminder why.”
OR: Oscar is in love with Lando, but there's one problem: he's an omega, and Lando is into alphas. Feeling bad, Carlos offers to help Oscar out. All seems well until they make a horrible mistake that may or may not involve two particularly well-placed bites.

Max has very specific opinions about proper nest construction, and Charles' well-meaning attempts to help are... not meeting omega standards. Max's internal commentary becomes increasingly judgmental as he tries to teach his alpha the finer points of nest architecture.
Charles finds his omega's perfectionist nesting instincts both endearing and exhausting.

Summary
