Apo was 𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘦 with this place! Fuck her military stay for 6 months! She was 𝘕𝘖𝘛 going to stay here for another 3 months! She had a backpack on with all her stuff in it and turned into a bat and flew away.
If cherri would still love her?.....

The military can fuckk themselves if they try to keep her here a day longer.
Or: post cannon apo goes back to cherri, but due to her not being in Oakhurst for the 6 months there's complications (tho nothing too bad)

The first thing Avid felt when he awoke again was a wave of massive pain, first in his chest, just as if someone had stabbed him (wich someone did). the second thing he felt was a strange sort of numness in his right hand.Then, the third and last thing he felt was pure unfiltered 𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧... He was 𝙁𝙐𝙍𝙄𝙊𝙐𝙎... and he didn't even know why... Then it hit him... He remembered.... 𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜...He remembers going to Oakhurst for a cure or at least a 𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭 death and then meeting everyone, Scott, Shelby, apo...., legs..., drift, sausage, abolish.., Cleo, Martyn., Ren. , pearl., and..... 𝘈𝘯𝘥... 𝙊𝙬𝙚𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙮𝙧𝙤!...

It felt like the forest itself was against her, creeper vines tangling around her ankles. She fell, throwing her arms out to catch herself. Something squished under her palm that she really, really hoped wasn’t a dead thing.
Lifting her hand, Drift saw with relief that it wasn’t an animal. Just a mushroom. She’d fallen into a circle of them, the white and red spotted type that looked straight out of a storybook.
