Summary
Everyone at court knew of Alina Starkov. Not just because of her unwelcomed Shu face or betrothal with Prince Nikolai. Her mother managed to bewitch their Tsar and Alina was the result. Not that it mattered. The tsar didn't pay any attention to his offspring, and so they didn't either. The day the legendary Sun Summoner was discovered, however, reminded them about the existence of Alina Starkov in the new light and title. For she now was their Sun Princess, their Golden Tsarevna.

Three moons after Queen Alicent gave birth to her third child, the king’s second son, the Princess of Dragonstone began her own labors twelve moons to the day after her marriage to Ser Laenor Velaryon. After laboring most of the night, the midwife pulled the Princess Aelora from her mother’s body just as the dawn broke. Aelora was her mother’s heir for the two years between her birth and the birth of her younger brother, Prince Jacaerys.
Everyone expected the Realm’s Delight to betroth her son and daughter to each other, but the princess never made a formal announcement, the Red Keep never sent ravens from the rookery announcing the match. As the children grew older, rumors surrounding their paternity began to swirl. Princess Rhaenyra offered a match between her daughter Aelora and the Queen’s oldest son, Aegon, to quell the whispers.
