Summary
During the first care of magical creatures, Hagrid introduces the class to Hippogriffs, majestic creatures that are half-horse, half-bird. Jack the transfer student from up north shocks the class by revealing wings on his back when he meets Buckbeak. Harry bonds with Buckbeak after Jack with and goes a flying rides alongside Jack. Harry doesn't mind that his new friend is half hippogriff. Harry thinks Jack is really cool and they become close. However a certain hybriphobic (fear of hybrids) racist HATES that Jack was accepted into Hogwarts in the first place.

Dick wasn’t even sure why they were talking about this. Why were these guys so concerned about Batman’s relationship? Somewhere in the back of his mind, Dick knew he was missing a piece of the conversation. But, to be fair, even if he had all the pieces Dick wasn’t too sure that analyzing a conversation about his parental figures’ relationship was something he particularly wanted to do.
