Lucifer never thought he would step foot in Heaven again.
Let alone as the almighty sovereign of it. (I mean not even in his wildest dreams!)But God is dead, and apparently, even after everything, Lucifer was planned to take over. Lucifer would ask why, but God can no longer answer. How upsetting.
Now he's left to question what God even wanted from him, to deal with ruling both Hell and Heaven because everyone in Heaven is upset about this pretty much and Charlie's expecting him to just poof everyone up to Heaven now that he's the boss (it doesn't work that way!), and even Alastor is acting weird now!

His king chirps miserably, “I’m not sure…I feel empty.” Lucifer confesses, small tears forming in the corner of his eyes, “I suppose I’m missing the feeling I had with Charlie? She was in an egg,” his hands mimics the round shape of a pregnant belly, “I'm just craving that fullness from conception.”
After a week of their respective cycles Lucifer is still unsatisfied, how can Alastor fulfill his partners new craving?

They're... hidden. They have to be. Even as the nave fills with guests and the music swells from the ornate organ, there's no way Lucifer wants anyone to see how easily his soon-to-be-husband is making his resolve crumble.
He should really stop him...but he knows by now that when Alastor sets his mind on something, it's hard to get him to stop.
