Peter Parker knows for a fact that smart kids always know they're smart. Another thing he knows: it fucking sucks to be a smart kid. It means being watched all the time, it means adults peering down their noses, it means tests and homework and boredom. It means fieldtrips to Oscorp and superpowers. It means watching Ben die, knowing exactly whose fault it is. It means an internship at Stark Industries, it means becoming an Avenger, it means getting dusted, coming back, watching another father figure die, watching him come back. It means holding May's hand while she babbles incoherently, inching towards death. It means magic spells and forgetting and seven years of lonely vigilanteism. It means making wrong choice after wrong choice after wrong choice.

Summary
The Holmes brothers seemed to be related in the same way that a sparrow and a vulture are related: they were part of the same species, and nothing more. They were of similar height, although the older one was decidedly heavier than Sherlock, but the similarities stopped there. The man patted Sherlock on the back a couple of times and let go, turning in the direction of John, who was standing in the doorway staring at the scene, hoping that his astonishment wasn't too obvious on his face.
"Sherlock, for heaven's sake, where are your manners? Aren't you going to introduce me to your friend?"
Sherlock gestured to him. "This is Dr. John Watson. Watson, my brother Mycroft."

Summary
Set after Spiderman Homecoming.
After May Parker’s tragic death, Peter is left more alone then ever. It seems that the only person he really has is himself, and he’s just trying to survive. Peter’s just trying to balance his school scholarship, his part-time internship at Stark Industries, being a teen vigilante, and trying to learn how to survive all on his own.
Everything seems to be too much for the teenager, who can’t seem to ever catch a break.

Meanwhile, the Avengers are trying to hunt him down for reasons completely unknown to Peter. They have one mission: to track Spiderman down and bring him into SHIELD. They don’t realize the “threat” they’re chasing after is just a broken teenager without anyone looking out for him.
