Summary
He gasps, covering his mouth as dirt fills the air, obscuring his view. People start pouring out of their own homes, shouts of concern and fear breaking the still morning atmosphere. As the dust clears, a pit miles deep forms in his stomach, rapidly followed by a cold, sharp feeling in his throat.
The building left nothing but ruin is a steady brick apartment building with flowers outside. The same one he'd left not thirty minutes earlier. The same one his team is still inside of.

Or: what if Atlas actually believed it when he said that the other Horsemen are dead?

Bosco LeRoy is having a monumentally shitty day.
First, he wakes up late, which wasn’t a problem when it was just him, Charlie, and June, but it’s not just them anymore, it’s them and the Horsemen. The goddamn Horsemen. He might’ve put on a show of nonchalance when Atlas first appeared in their hideout, but holy shit was it hard to keep a lid on it. He’s been idolizing J. Daniel Atlas since middle school, and there he was right in front of him, offering them not only a job but a chance to do something beyond swindling egotistical crypto bros and finance jerks. The last thing he wanted to do was to come off as an overzealous kid having bitten off more than he could chew, and now that he’s been welcomed into the Eye’s ranks that pressure has increased tenfold. So, waking up late? Out of the question. He would not have Atlas or Dylan or any of the other Horsemen thinking he wasn’t taking this opportunity seriously.

You inspired me to try magic on my own, and I always wanted to be just like you.”
“Just like me?” he asks neutrally — and from the corner of his eye he can see Lula turning, the faintest change in his tone enough for her to realise something’s shifted, as though there hadn’t been hundreds of miles and four years between now and the last time they’d known each other well — before he looks back at Daniel. We are nothing alike.

Daylight skinny-dippers; a small group of old ladies who’d attempted to rob the corner shop with their umbrellas, a guy who’d stolen a total of eighteen gnomes from his suburban neighborhood.
But pulling over Max Mayfield driving her brother’s Camaro at the ripe age of thirteen was pretty insane. Sure, kids will be kids and kids will be crazy. Until Steve Harrington crawled out of the backseat, clutched his knees and horror-movie hurled blood all over his boots and shit got crazier.
That took it from a minor concern to oh, fuck. Callahan has to take this kid to a hospital.
