There were still some moments he regretted his decision, even when faced with the continued evidence of its success. Such as now, when he was making the final preparations with Jabba and his protocol droid for Obi-Wan's upcoming nuptials. Because Amdiala had been so openly vocal about stopping the Hutts, the Chancellor was forced to make a public showing of diplomacy that lead to the agreement of an arranged marriage between the most powerful man in the galaxy and one of Jabba's representatives.
Obi-Wan would much rather have sent in one of his Inquisitors for some aggressive negotiations.

Anakin shifted so he could look into Obi-Wan's eyes easier while still cushioned on his thighs. "I don't think you see us as something casual, or anything, but I guess I need to know how serious you see this." He gave another reassuring squeeze to Obi-Wan's hand with an accompanying deep breath. "I've been thinking, lately, that it might be time for you to meet Luke and Leia. But I don't want to introduce someone into their lives unless it's real. Unless there's a chance it could be permanent."
"Oh, Anakin," Obi-Wan's voice came out as a whisper and he found himself having to blink back tears that were threatening to fall. "Of course this is real. And I very much hope that it is permanent."
Anakin hoisted himself up to give Obi-Wan a sweet kiss that made him feel cherished. "Me too, baby. Me, too."

Anakin looked sharply over at him, his face going from innocent mirth to what he could only describe as predatory in a matter of seconds. Those bright eyes quickly looked him up and down before a smirk spread across his lips.
"Not yet," he said, lifting his hand and settling it along Obi-Wan's hip. "Are you free Saturday night?"

Suddenly, Anakin’s brash bravado had left him. Suddenly, he could barely look his Master in the eye. Suddenly, any attention from Obi-Wan made Anakin’s stomach twist and knees weaken. Suddenly, Anakin had all the subtlety of Padmé and Chancellor Palpatine - Force, the entire Senate - just when Anakin needed it the least.
But how was anything going to get done about it this stupid crush if they both refused to ever examine their feelings, even under penalty of death?

When Anakin realizes that he is, in fact, embarrassingly and unendingly in love with his Master, he does the only thing he can think of - avoid, repress, and when that doesn't work, ask everyone else for dating advice. It goes about as well as expected.

“To just sleep?” The body in his arms turns. “Another $200.”
“Alright.” He doesn’t know what the going rate is, and doesn’t care. $300 to be delivered safely back to his hotel, comforted, and given a good night’s sleep seems like a fine price to him. “What’s your name?”
“What for? You’re not writing me a check.”
Obi-Wan smiles wryly. “I keep calling you ‘kid’ in my head. I’m starting to feel like a bad old man.”
There’s a long-suffering sigh that Obi-Wan feels with his entire body, and then a reluctant, “Anakin.”
