He should have known it would end like this, everyone going off back to their own lives. Leaving him in the dust, again.

It was only by pure luck that Miles was alone when they showed up. The other Miles (Miles 42?) and uncle Aaron had left to do something for the job they had been talking about. They had been gone for about 15 minutes, 15 minutes of feeling the ache settle in his bones and feel the pulsing of the claw marks across his shoulder when they came for him.
Really only has Gwen, Peter, Miles and Hobie in it. Everyone else is kind of vaguely mentioned.

When Raph growls again, Mikey rolls his eyes and examines his watch-less wrist, “Not that I’m not enjoying the Argue-with-Raph Hour, but I gotta Go. Look, y’know what? Let’s make a Bet.”
Raph’s face twitches, his terrible poker face already giving him away like it always does when he plays cards with Master Splinter and Casey, “...What kinda bet?”
“You let me go in alone, and if I have to call for help, send out the ol’ distress beacon, then I’ll do your chores for the next month.”

Summary
Michelangelo lives fast.
It brings a thrill to his vibrant soul, dancing between events teasingly, daring time to swoop him through event after event, day after day. All with the ease of a well-rehearsed dance, Michelangelo will leap and bound towards anything new, anything that skipped his heart a few beats too fast with little thought or control. At least, he had done.
All of a sudden, he and his family are thrust 100 years into the future, exposed and under the sunlight for the first time in their lives. His skin itches, blaring sounds and dizzying colours all mercilessly bombarding him before he can even speak, or question what the hell just happened.~
Mikey usually loves the fast paced lifestyle but finds himself struggling to keep up with all the changes the future brings. The future isn’t as bright as he dreamt it would be, and he struggles to adjust where his brothers thrive. He misses home, and everything they left behind.
TLDR: Mikey misses the past. Not wanting to ruin it for any one else, he keeps these feelings to himself until they become self destructive.

Currently, Leo was lying in his bed, dozing off to the sound of the rain. Tip, tap, tip tap, tip, tap- the rain had only gotten worse and worse, pouring from the skies above and almost 'angrily' pounding down the windows. It was soothing, in some way. Very nice to listen to. Succesfully silencing his thoughts, his worries- all there was was the rain. Peaceful, nice rain. Maybe he should see if Donnie could install rain sounds on his shell phone later? It seemed to help him get sleepy a lot, and if everyone else could sleep this peacefully every night-

He was wide awake at once.

Donnie’s brow somehow lowered further. “I… you’re taking this remarkably well, Mikey. You got shot. I don’t even know if that’s fully registered with you yet, but even still, no normal 15 year old should be making jokes about a bullet embedded in their body only an hour after it happened.”
While out on a Saturday night patrol, Mikey suffers a bullet wound and falls unconscious. Once he wakes up, Donnie can't understand why Mikey's still so jovial.

Set directly after "Lone Raph and Cub" and mainly tackles pieces/lore from Notes From The Underground parts 1-3, Shredder Strikes Back parts 1-2, Tales of Leo, and Return to New York parts 1-3.
“Dad’s gone because of me!” He says it like it hurts because it does and tears start dripping down his face and wet Leo’s lower body, “How? How can you guys still love me? Still keep me around?!” His voice is as if sandpaper lined his vocal chords, and he practically screams it into Leo’s chest, but his next words are whispered as if a prayer, subconsciously begging for the exact opposite of the questions he asked, “Why haven’t you left?”
In other words...Mikey's been ignoring his mistakes for awhile, but the disappearance of Master Splinter dredges a lot to the forefront of his mind.
