“I love you so much.”
Laudna stilled for a moment before leaning back just enough to look at Imogen, her smile soft and oh so loving. “I love you too, darling. More than anything in this world.” Her eyes flickered down, a faint blush dusting her cheeks.
Imogen felt her heart stutter, the temptation to dive into Laudna’s mind stronger than ever. She refrained, but not without effort.
“Even more than Pâté?”

Imogen has another nightmare and Laudna is there to comfort her like always.

Fearne tilts her head to the side. “What’s really making you so upset?”
Imogen’s eyes go wide.
“There are so many shops we can go to, and you can always order a ring online too.”
Imogen sees FCG nod their head before feeling both sets of eyes on her.
“I know,” Imogen rushes out, her cheeks reddening as she pulls her hand away from Fearne and crosses her arms. “But I want this ring to be special.” She drops her gaze, unable to look at either of her friends. Realistically, Imogen knows she can’t expect to find a perfect ring in one day. She just wishes she knew why nothing felt right.
“You’re already asking Laudna to marry you,” FCG says. “What could be more special than that?”
Or, Imogen struggles, their friends help, and Laudna gets something she's always wanted but never thought she could have.

She just has to hold out until the Honmoon’s golden. Straightforward enough, right?

Rumi shrugs, feeling raw and exposed in the way she always does after kneeling for them.
