Overachieving sixth-year prefect Tom Riddle is on the fast track to be Head Boy next year, a Department Head by thirty, and Minister for Magic by forty. Harry Potter, Quidditch star and the most popular boy in school, doesn't factor anywhere into those plans or Tom's life. Until Professor Slughorn pairs the two of them together on a Potions project.
Partner with Potter? Potter, who was so abysmal at Potions he’d melted three cauldrons already that term and caused two explosions besides? Potter, whose head was full up only of Quidditch drills and probably all of the dates he had lined up for his next umpteen Hogsmeade visits? Potter, who had no concept of personal space and radiated heat like a furnace and whose thigh was still pressed against Tom’s own?
This was an unmitigated disaster.

Summary
A case that doesn't make sense leads Harry, now working for the Auror department, to Azkaban, where the previous dark lord is serving a lifetime sentence, in hopes of help. He had not expected to find Voldemort in the condition that he did though. Voldemort is desperate for a way out of prison which leads to a situation neither of them wanted or were prepared for and they both struggle to adjust. At the same time, a dark new threat grows in the shadows of the Wizarding World. Somewhat inspired by White Collar and the Blacklist but not based on these. Slave!Tom Riddle/Voldemort.
