Summary
Before Young-il could reply, his clenched jaw signaling that it was possible he would lecture Gi-hun, which was disturbingly plausible, the door beeped behind them, a screen above the lock lighting up, counting down from 05:58:53 in harsh, blinding, pink numerals.
“That’s… that’s a timer.” Young-il muttered, his face paling, “it’s a lockdown counter, we’re going to be stuck here for a while.”

Summary
“You’re quite the influential figure these days,” you remark languidly, attempting to get the conversation back on track. And that’s an understatement: Amon has been hijacking broadcasts several times a week now. There are regular rallies for him, protests around the city… The list goes on. The man has fashioned himself a modern-day prophet.
“An unfortunate side effect of seeking truth,” Amon reasons. You breathe in and out, attempting to keep your anger in check. “You share the burden, I suspect.”
A midnight encounter with Amon.

Summary
Mike had been watching it happen for weeks now, and he wasn’t sure if he was losing his mind or if Harvey Specter, the Harvey Specter, the best closer in New York City, the guy who could slice through a deposition like it was butter and still have time to smirk at his own reflection, had a secret weakness.
It wasn’t coffee, because Harvey drank that like it was the elixir of life. It wasn’t women, because that was less a weakness and more a carefully cultivated reputation. No, the crack in the marble statue was something smaller, stranger, almost impossible. Typos.

Summary
In-ho’s coffee leaps into the air, high enough that he’d laugh if he wasn’t (literally) seeing red. The hot liquid rains down, splattering all over his white button-up.
Seong Gi-hun is mortified, his face matching the shade of his hair as he realizes what he’s just done.
“Oh my god!” he cries, grabbing a handful of napkins from the register. “I’m so sorry! I wasn’t looking where I was going!”
In-ho's never believed in karma. If karma was real, Oh Il-nam would’ve died ages ago. If karma was real, he would've died in his games. But he didn't.
Maybe, somehow, this is his karma.
Gi-hun gets on the plane to L.A. In-ho follows with one goal and one goal only: make sure Gi-hun sets roots in America. Make sure he doesn’t return to the games.
But when In-ho (or rather, Young-il) continuously bumps into Gi-hun, he realizes this might be harder than he initially thought. Especially with how Gi-hun’s looking at him. Karma’s a bitch.

Summary
After dying in the 37th Squid Game, Seong Gi-hun is thrust back in time—one year after the 28th Games—where he meets Hwang In-ho a week before he assumes the mantle of Front Man.
With only seven days to appeal to In-ho’s humanity and prevent the future he just escaped, Gi-hun realizes the only way to save everyone he loves is to save the one man who deserved it the least.
But In-ho is younger, less corrupt, and still reeling from his own past, and Gi-hun soon learns that this new game of trust and redemption is far more dangerous than any arena he’s faced before.
