“Well, I wanted to ask you, how to come out to people? Because you did that awesome dance for your dad but I can't really do that, should I make a cake or something? You're the only one I know who's really done it before.”
Mac pauses, mouth open looking at her. She imagines the computer boot up noise, as he filters through at least five different emotions in quick succession.

The Gang says things that probably aren't important. Charlie doesn't care enough to listen. Why would you spend time thinking and listening and being generally boring when you could get high and talk to the rats in the basement?

Summary
Mac notices Dennis sneaking around and acting suspicious, so he comes to the very logical conclusion that Dennis must be planning to kill him, and recruits Charlie to help him get rid of Dennis first. Meanwhile, Dennis plans an elaborate proposal, to finally show Mac that his feelings are reciprocal in the most clear way possible — how could a grand romantic gesture like that, from a 5-star man such as himself, possibly go wrong?
+ Frank convinces Dee to help him with a “feminist” film project, and what’s more feminist than lesbians? The fake identity rings more true than she ever would have thought.
(despite the title, no one actually dies. Surprisingly)
