    For the second time in her life, Maomao was in the Northern province. This time, she was in the residence of the governor, in the capital. She had came willingly, not like the first time.

    A strange illness had made it’s apparition in the Northern province months ago. Cautious, fearing the worst, the Emperor had sent his brother to supervise the situation and get it under control.
    She was an apothecary. She was learning everyday next to the physicians how to treat patients. That is why she had come. To help.

    But she felt just as trapped as when she was in that fortress.

    And now, she felt cold. And alone.
