Summary
In the Batfamily, names are never just names. They are shields, boundaries, and sometimes gifts.
It had been considered a milestone the day Damian Wayne stopped calling Dick “Grayson” and instead said “Richard.” A quiet change, almost easy to miss, but one that spoke volumes. It meant trust. It meant that one of Damian’s carefully fortified walls had finally cracked, just enough to let someone in.
There had been surprise when “Todd” softened into “Jason,” a reluctant acknowledgment of brotherhood. A small miracle when “Drake” became “Timothy,” and eventually just “Tim,” the name spoken with familiarity instead of distance.
Each name change marked growth, healing, and acceptance. Each one was noticed, cataloged, and quietly treasured by the family.
But no one was prepared for the day Damian stopped saying “Father.”
No one was ready for the moment the word “Bruce” slipped out instead.

Summary
“The pollen only causes pain?” Damian asks suddenly, interrupting their banal bickering. “Nothing else?
Grayson nods. “And all that’s required for the antidote is some intense cuddling while the body works it out of its system.”
“For how long?”
“About twelve hours I think.”
“Maybe we should’ve let the brat get a dose of it,” Todd says, picking thorns out of his leather jacket. “He would’ve hated it.”
He says it in a lazy way, like a joke, but Damian’s heart still skips a beat.
Damian is glad that he asked before admitting to having breathed in a lungful of this cuddle pollen. Pain is a small price to pay for not having to do something as childish and demeaning as cuddling with someone for twelve hours. Pain is nothing to Damian. He’s been friends with pain his whole life. Grandfather and Mother made sure of that. His pain tolerance far exceeds the average human and even if he has grown weak and soft these last three years, he’s sure he can easily endure this. It will probably even be good for him.

Summary
Damian Al-Ghul does not get sick.
He is the son of the Batman.
Heir to the Demon’s Head.
The future of the Bat mantle, the pride of his parents, the successor his brothers watch with wary admiration. He does not get sick.
Not when he goes under in the Gotham harbor.
Not when filthy water fills his lungs and drags him down.
Not when he drags himself home, bruised and shaking.
Not when the fever blooms behind his eyes the next morning.No.
Because Damian Al-Ghul does not get sick.
Sickness is weakness, and Damian Al-Ghul is never weak.…right?
He's not sick. Not when the fever climbs, when breathing becomes a battle he can’t win alone, when the river’s infection sinks its teeth into his lungs and blood- No. He's fine.
Damian Al-Ghul does not get sick. That would imply weakness. And he is an unstoppable, invincible, ten-year-old war assassin- …who maybe, possibly, hypothetically should not be coughing like that. Or swaying like that. Or unable to get up anymore. No.
Because Damian Al-Ghul doesn’t get sick.
(Except, apparently… Damian Wayne does. He absolutely does.)

“Like he was replaced by a baby? Or he was de-aged?”
Irrational irritation flares.
“He wasn’t replaced by a fucking baby, Tim-” Dick starts.
“Timothy?” Damian asks. Silence again. Dick gapes. Damian’s tiny brow pinches. “Timothy?”
“Damian?” Tim asks incredulously.

When Damian gets de-aged, he imprints on the last person any of them would expect: Tim
