It is not a retelling of the entire story—instead, it is a selection of scenes from the main story written from Snape’s perspective, as well as a few additional scenes that Hermione is not present in. It is intended to enrich the reader and give them insights into things happening behind the scenes as well as giving the reader a glimpse into the mind of a man who was never corrupted by Voldemort and his influences.

I'm more of a minimalist, dialogue heavy writer, so tried to be a little more long winded and descriptive here. I'm also not super great with smut - there will be no quivering mounds of love pudding here - but i think I got the point across.
