Summary
Wracked by a vision in the old Lothal temple, Ahsoka Tano comes face to face with a nightmare-ish and twisted form of her old Jedi master, Anakin Skywalker. Overwhelmed by guilt and loneliness, she fights back when he tries to convince her to join him only to discover that vision might have been true after all. And when she succeeds at cracking open his devilish façade, she’s met with the tiniest bit of hope there might be enough left of him to save. But in a twist of fate, his body seems to be failing him, and she has nowhere to turn except to the very people that had been hunting her for years. Now it’s her fate that’s uncertain.
Is there enough of Anakin left to save them both, or are they doomed to the darkness threatening to swallow the galaxy whole?

Summary
Minato lives, and he mentors brilliant young Itachi as a diplomat instead of consigning this gentle peace-loving child to the darkness of ANBU. This changes everything.
It's all politics, no murder.
(Well, okay, a little murder.)
Eventually the plan is to stitch all of this into a coherent novel series (believe me, my notes are a few million words beyond what's published here!). But I'm a disaster human, so that may never actually happen. For now, these stories are ordered chronologically but are mostly self-contained and can be read independently. And there are loads of spoilers and background info in the comments

“We're landing! Senator Palpatine is waiting at the hangar,” one of the security guards cried out.
Obi-Wan and Anakin shared a glance at that name, and Anakin jumped to the floor. He flexed his arms and legs, seemingly fascinated with his own fingers.
“You’re in?” Anakin asked.
And, well, Obi-Wan had killed one Sith already; what was one more? Surely nothing bad could come from killing Palpatine.
“Sure,” he found himself agreeing.
