Matt wishes that the Avenger's assumptions about his seeming inability to read the written word did something as benign as making an ass of him and them. Being called illiterate shouldn't hurt, not when he knows he's not, and it's not like he can tell them the truth.
Not that the truth would make much difference. He's just going to have to grin and bear it.

Summary
Two weeks ago, Duke was a Robin, leading a gang of others like him against the rising tide of petty criminals looking to exploit Batman’s absence. That’s recently changed, when the Robins trained by Batman came back to Gotham to get a handle on the situation, with mixed results. The Robins as a gang were scattered, most of them dropping back into civilian life. Duke Thomas isn’t among them.
Nightwing tricked him during their last meeting, using his nervousness around heights against him. He takes to the rooftops to rectify that and, during one of his rooftop runs, comes across a strange girl surrounded in the street.
