Summary

"Greymon...! The gate!"
That big green eye flickers toward him.
Greymon growls, that low decibel rumble that's more of a reverberation in the air than a sound, that makes the hair on the back of Tai's neck stand up. Tai understands at once. The other digimon is faster - if he lets go of it now, he may not be able to get ahold of it again. But the gate is closing. Greymon physically dragging the other digimon through the gate is not the worst thing that could happen. It's not like Tai can't go home to his computer and immediately open a stable gateway to the digital world and go get him.
But the idea of leaving him locked in combat with a violent digimon that will hurt him - or worse - while Tai is stuck here in the middle of the street in the real world - has Tai's heart launching painfully into his throat.
He jolts forward.
He shouts, "Don't!"

/ Tai breaks his arm, and has to deal with that.
