One of the best Avatar Zuko stories out there. Well-developed slowburn Zutara, good character development, takes plot in a very different direction from canon. Highlights include Airbenders hiding out on a lionturtle, Zuko trying to turn himself in, and Yue teaching Katara waterbending.

Probably my favorite ATLA fic. Definitely the pinnacle of the “Zuko Joins The Gaang Early” genre. Makes great use of the unreliable narrator device.
