Steve and Bucky stood at the foot of the bed where Tony lay, breathing heavy and deep.
“How is he?” Steve asked in a hushed voice, as if not to disturb him.
“Impossible to say, he may never fully recover,” Bucky replied gravely, looking over at his boyfriend.
“Fuck off!” Tony shouted, throwing a pillow at the pair, “Not all of us are Supersoldiers.”
Steve and Bucky sniggered like six-year-olds who thought they had just told a particularly funny fart joke.

Bucky may have recovered the majority of his memories but he knew he was in no way that same suave man he had once been, the guy who could give a dame one look and she’d be putty in his hands. Still, he had hoped that enough of that man still existed within him. According to Steve he was very obvious about his crush and given that in this day and age he wasn’t risking a beating or arrest if he asked a fella out he’d been hoping against hope but...
Well. There’s no point in putting Tony through the discomfort of turning him down gently when he was already uneasy in Bucky’s presence.
Bucky took a sharp intake of breath seeing Tony approach him at the breakfast bar, coming to settle across from him. The whole kitchen came to a stop as he pulled out the gun.

Eric grunts an affirmative.
“Why do you have a baby?” Jaskier demands, because although Eric of the Wolf School is a Master Witcher and has shown extreme skill in everything from tracking monsters to slaying monsters to bashing knights over the head, not once has he ever displayed even the slightest interest in babies.
Eric gives him a look. And then he gives Jaskier the baby.
And that is how Jaskier ends up leaving Cintra: with a Witcher, a baby, and a milk goat.

Professor Pankratze does his best to impart everything he has learned on to his students. Whether social injustice has anything to do with the musical theory and composition classes he teaches is irrelevant.
His students are far more attentive than he ever could've hoped.
Or: Five times Professor Pankratze's students step up to help a witcher when no one else will. And one time it's the other professors who take up the task.
