“Hey, hey, it’s okay - you’re okay kid,” He soothes, brushing his hand through his sweat soaked bangs.
“Sorry - I don’t know why - “ Akira murmurs brokenly, tears still falling down his cheeks despite his attempts to wipe them away. “I take hits all the time, I’ve been tortured, but God, this hurts so bad -“ He breaks off with a weak cry, curling even tighter into himself.

I think one of my favorite tropes in the fic writing community for P4 is ‘Heaven but with a twist’ because it always ends in the protag’s life just being that much worse in November…
At least this time Souji had Yosuke to comfort him afterwards.

Their plan worked. However while they knew the risks, none of them thought of the consequences. Not even their leader, until it was too late. The events of Akira's interrogation begin to haunt him in his dreams, and the weight of the world and the year begins to crush him.
Then when his mask breaks, Makoto and the others are forced to put their plans on hold to take on one extra mission. A mission to save their friend, even if it means changing his heart.
This fic contains moderate spoilers for the final act of the game.

Summary
Class 2-D of Shujin Academy had a secret, and it was all thanks to Kurusu. There was no secret prior to his transfer to the school in April; before then, the students were about as normal as they came (save for, perhaps, Takamaki, who stood out thanks to her ‘relationship’ with Kamoshida, and Mishima, who looked closer to bolting if anyone so much as looked at him the wrong way than anything). They gossiped together, complained about their classwork together, made fun of one another, and bemoaned their luck when they were the ones stuck with the delinquent transfer student together.
Kurusu seemed quiet, at least, his head always tilted down so the light reflected off his glasses and hid his eyes. When that didn’t work, he tugged at his unkempt hair, hiding his face from view so no one could quite get a good look at him. Save for the rumors that class 2-D helped spread about his criminal record—the most outrageous, so far, being that he went and stabbed a man for looking at him funny—everything continued almost normally.
Then, a few days into Kurusu’s year-long tenure at Shuji Academy, the class started hearing meowing coming from his direction.

Summary
The letter delivered to the Dojima residence leads to a demand for the truth.
Souji sticks his hand in the TV. Dojima takes a walk. Namatame still rings the doorbell, willing to do anything to save Nanako.
All this culminates in Souji getting stabbed.
A.K.A. I make November even worse for the Dojima family because I can.

I am so fucking happy someone had kind of the same idea as me and made November SO MUCH WORSE for the Dojimas. I love Dojima being made aware of The Horrors just in time for The Horrors to come after his family… I’ll happily take more of those nickels.
