A French phrase that directly translates to "Is it really worth the pain?"After finding out Henry left in the middle of the night, Alex is distraught. He doesn't go to Kensington, but he does try and communicate. Through text messages, emails, and calls, all to no avail. So he simply just... gives up.
What happens when it's been a year, a year filled with hookups, and short-term flings that mean nothing, a year filled with heartbreak, a year after which Henry decides to come back?

“I’m sorry, you’re a what?” Henry interrupted, “Do you mean to tell me that you have been a wolf, this entire time.”
“Yeah,” the brunette laughed, “Wait, you really didn’t notice? I thought you just kept telling everyone I wasn’t a wolf ‘cause you didn’t want them to be freaked out.”
“I’ve never seen a wolf in my life, how would I know?!” Henry exclaimed, sitting up straight and nearly clanking his forehead against the other man’s. He whipped around once he was sitting to lock their eyes together again, “Werewolf? You’re telling me you’re a werewo-”
“Have you also never seen a dog?” it was Alex’s turn to interrupt now, snickering as the blond cursed under his breath, “I was literally taller than you when I stood on my hind legs? What kind of dog is that big?”

Summary
He's stuck in a frozen state of indecision. If he moves, Eddie will rouse, and the huge aching problem he's got in his pants will be immediately obvious and unavoidable. If he doesn't move there's an off-chance that, by grace of God, Eddie will roll over, back off of him — or at the very least, a marginally safe distance away from his inopportune boner. But to wait for the miracle, the pressure will simply build, slowly boiling him alive. His bladder will bloat more, pressing into his prostate from the inside, and he'll be in even more of a pickle than now.

Buck doesn’t hesitate, doesn’t warn him—just lifts his hand and pricks the needle into the back of it.
Eddie barely has time to register the movement before a sudden sting blooms across his skin. His body jerks in an instinctive flinch, breath hitching as he stares down at the back of his hand in disbelief. A tiny bead of blood wells up, vivid against his skin.
What the fuck?
His head snaps up to the screen, heart hammering. Buck is ghost-pale, his breathing uneven, wide eyes locked onto Eddie’s reaction. There’s a flicker of shock, then something like confirmation.
Buck lifts his own hand, a matching red bead of blood on the back of it. The pieces slot into place.
Eddie swallows hard, his pulse pounding in his ears. Buck looks scared.
“Eddie—our bodies are linked.”

Now following Draco’s direct orders gives him intense pleasure, and Draco has a whole heap of troubles to deal with, not least the way Potter looks when the collar has him gasping with bliss. The whole situation would test the morals of a saint... and Draco’s no saint.
