…Ridiculous, really. Spending so much time to ensure another is happy just for the sake of it. Hythlodaeus should focus more on his own duties and himself. Or, perhaps, focus on the way his soul flutters when he’s with Azem, so often wishing, hoping that maybe, just maybe, he himself is the cause of it. Dreaming of, by chance, having Azem talk about him to others just as much as he talks about them to him.
…Ah. There it is again, the thoughts his mind digs up whenever he’s alone with time to think.

"I think the problem may be that I want to offer you overmuch," the Warrior of Light muttered under her breath, molding down the snow Proto-Carbuncle's body with an unnecessary amount of force while trying to dismiss her daydreams.
Pure sweet Starlight seasonal fluff and a first time with Erichthonios (who deserves all the love after the events of Pandæmonium)!
