Samuel was getting down to the basement like every evening, dinner for two in his hands, ready to feed the nobleman that was living there.

For Samuel, it was the first time that he felt that confident around someone other than his mame, which was a weird feeling. But not an unpleasant one. Not with John.But, when he turned around at the bottom of the stairs, he froze.
The noble, who he always saw wearing his blue tunic and large hat that usually cover a large part of his head, was here in his usual clothes but with only a simple fine white shirt, and his hair were wet and held by a hair stick.

“Well, now that you are already almost naked anyway,” Hans said, looking at Henry with playfulness in his voice, “why not stripping totally and sit in the bath with me?”
At first, Henry was a bit hesitant, not sure how this could be seen, a noble and a peasant together in the same bath.
“I’m not sure, would that be okay?”
“Obviously, dickhead! Or I would not propose it to you! And in any case, I think you deserve it, being you saving my life and all!”

Christmas 1941. It was a white Christmas Eve at Button House. The soldiers took the time to decorate the House with little things, like garland and some mistletoe. It was quite cosy.
The majority of them decided to go back to their family for one day. Some of them had a wife, husband, children’s and parents to see. The Captain took the decision to let them go.
He didn’t care if he was once again alone for this period anyway.But he wasn’t alone. Strangely enough, Havers decided to stay here too.
