It was a dream come true for Nakamura and Hirose was happy to see the once shy boy open up to him and the others around him.

    The two will experience their own set of firsts each others. Their first time alone together, their first time discovering things about each other, exposing just how deep their love goes.

    ‘No,’ was his first thought, breathless. In any moment, his legs would give out and he’d fall into a pathetic heap in front of the love of his life.

    Wait- yes! He’s more than okay, this is a chance of a lifetime! His future bloodline would be told of this life-changing event, a sacred moment of history meant to be shared with all.

    Or perhaps it will be a story of caution. But instead of Icarus, it’s about a socially awkward boy dying from flying too close to gay teenager heaven. Closeting too close to the sun, if you will (literally and figuratively.)

    So, here's the thing. The Fire Nation royal family descended from dragons.

    Not in the sense that one of them had scaly tendencies a few million years ago, but in the sense that a dragon saw humans, decided it liked them, and took on the appearance of a human, only to be stuck in that form as punishment from the spirits.

    The dragon didn't take it too badly, as he married a princess, had children, and his firstborn rose to power and became Fire Lord.

     Zuko, however, had some very good complains to do.
