Summary
Asa and Denji successfully prevent the Apocalypse and solve most of their current problems as of chapter 220. They now need to navigate a world where devils are still a dangerous problem, Asa now has to adjust to having a new devil-powered body with no devil constantly whispering to her, Denji has to come to terms with the loss of his family (again), and how human society and Public Safety view/deal with them. This is intended as a fun happy ending for them that still has fairly canon-compliant struggles though they will not have anything as terrible as what has already happened done to them. They both deserve a happy ending and I fear our lord Fujimoto will give us something upsetting or bittersweet. So enjoy this story of two broken people struggling together to be less broken and have a happy ending in such a cruel world. Starts off immediately after stopping the Apocalypse and kicking Yoru out of Asa's head.

He spirals into obsession, chasing what he can not have while pushing away what he has. Both of them realize that the real danger is much worse than a simple devil. A very powerful one threatens to rip the reality apart. Kobeni makes her choice: she will not die as a coward, and she will not accept the life she does not deserve. And their growing feelings start to get in the way.

The four Horseman of the Apocalypse are War, Death, Famine, and Control. All of which in one way or another leads to immense emotional trauma of human and devil alike. Depression, in the broad sense, is the offspring of such events.
The Depression Devil has been reborn on earth. Completely uninterested in wandering Japan, the first thing they did was turn themselves into Public Safety, content to live out the rest of it's days locked away in a dark cell, alone.
Makima, however, is in charge of Devil Extermination Special Division 4. The very same division Depression has found themselves in.
And so, against its very non-existent will, Depression is forced to do something with their life.

As he sat despondently and alone in a dark, empty alleyway with fear and hatred consuming him, the sounds of metal footsteps approached from behind and an imposing shadow loomed overhead.
"Are you the one called...Subaru Natsuki?" Asked a raspy, echoey, and almost monstrous voice.
Turning around, startled by the voice that sounded so unnatural, Subaru could not help but stare in shock at the person who stood before him.

A story inspired by Re:Forgotten, where Subaru initially (after being forgotten during the events of Arc 5) was able to remain at his camp, but after the events of the Pleiades Tower and Vollachia, he was falsely accused of being an "Archbishop" due to being considered dangerous.
Priscilla Barielle halts his execution and later names him her "Knight." After several months and many battles, Subaru, with the help of the camps, defeats the Witch's Cult (including Lye Batenkaitos). His memories of "Natsuki Subaru" are restored, but the damage is already done. He now serves Priscilla Barielle as her "Knight".
The story focuses on Subaru's life with Priscilla after winning the royal selection.
