Recognizing the growing visibility of LGBTQ athletes, they plan to feature soccer super-couple Kristie Mewis and Sam Kerr, diver Tom Daley, runner Nico Young, and several players from the WNBA. Yuna, Shane's mom-anager, thinks it's a great idea to promote diversity for the sport and for Shane personally. For his part, Shane is confused why SI wants him instead of his much sexier husband. Eventually, Shane comes around to the idea.
