Summary
Gods and mortals alike seem to be under the impression that killing the giant Argus Panoptes was easy. Simple, even. After all, "argeiphontes" was just another title, and it's not like it was achieved with heroics. Some people say he just chucked a rock at the giant and called the job done.
Okay, maybe it wasn't flashy or heroic.
Maybe it wasn't achieved by the most powerful god.
Maybe it wasn't exactly the most noble either — something that would go on to haunt the messenger for what may well be eternity.
But it sure wasn't easy.

An excuse to put Hermes in a big jar and shake him around for a bit, I guess

Summary
Wanting to stay away from godly drama, Thoth takes a shot at being a therapist under a mortal guise. All is well until a strange woman enters his office, asking for advice to help fix her marriage. It isn't long until he realizes that the troubled couple he's been seeing weekly, is in fact, Zeus and Hera. King and Queen of Olympus. The God of Thunder and the Goddess of Marriage. His hair was a little messy from how fast he’d run down the hall, and he was holding a paper—creased from being clutched too tightly—his whole face bright with that fragile, electric hope kids get when they carry good news they can barely wait to share.
“Dad, look! I—”
“One minute, buddy.” Zeus said, without even glancing up. His voice wasn’t sharp, wasn’t dismissive—just distracted, warm, wrapped around Eileithyia instead of him.
Ares stopped mid-step.
It was tiny. A blink. A wobble of his smile. The paper in his hand dipped a little, like even it felt the sudden weight in the air.
“Yeah. Sure. Whatever.” His voice went small at the edges, carefully casual—the kind of casual that only exists to hide a bruise.

“So,” Hera began crisply, gesturing toward her husband as though presenting evidence in court. “He’s been forgetting things. Important things. The kind of things no king of gods should forget.”
Mnemosyne nodded politely, glancing toward Zeus, who sat slouched beside Hera with his arms crossed, expression as dead as his attention span. She pulled out a small notepad that materialized in her hand. “All right,” She said diplomatically. “Let’s start small. I’ll run a few memory tests and then, if necessary, we can schedule a brain MRI.”
At that, Zeus sat up straight. “A what now?”
Mnemosyne’s tone stayed calm and professional. “A brain scan, dear. Just to make sure this isn’t another Athena incident.”
Zeus blinked.
