Living with a old, but crazy artificer who doesn't worship the Gods for some reason and uses him as both a magic battery and a servant/work hand. But it was better than living on the Streets until one of the Temples and/or dark cults snatch him up. Without knowing it, Sun and Atlas are learning how to deal with their personal issues by seeing themselves in the other.
