“True, but it’s damn convenient you just happen to have this experience that no one knows shit about.” There was an accusing glint in Red’s eyelights. “Right when tryin’ to talk about how mature ya are. Ya can’ even give me simple answers.”
And Blue didn’t know what it was; if it was the stress that had just built up from everything that had happened combined with Red’s degradation, or if it was the hidden challenge in Red’s words paired with his indifference, that finally pushed him to the end of his limit and broke it.
Within a blink, a growl was echoing from behind Blue’s gritted teeth, and his hands were suddenly on Red’s shoulders as he slammed his chest against Red’s and boldly pushed the broader monster down, pinning him into the frayed and worn cushions beneath them.
Red looked ready to strike, red mist billowing out of his right socket, before Blue leaned in to hiss right against the side of his skull. “Do you want me to prove it?”
